Situational Awareness Course Description
The Situational Awareness Course teaches how to be safer in your everyday life.
This class discusses how to be safer and more aware of your surroundings in both public and private settings.
Some of the subject matters discussed are:
- Analyzing your environment and identifying threats.
Improving your state of awareness improving your reaction time. - Having a plan for a road rage incident, a confrontation in public or in
your home. Including Carjacking and robbery crimes. - Understanding and trusting your instincts and your ability to observe.
- Understanding your color of awareness and how to use the “OODA
LOOP” to your advantage. - How to recognize and deal with scams both AI, internet, phone or text
and in person encounters as well as family planning to not become a
victim. - How to carry yourself, proper use of wording in encounters creating a
TEAM when an encounter occurs. - Having a plan if you find yourself in an active shooter situation.
- A “conversation” on indicators, labeling yourself and self-defense.
